Mata Chica is a secluded and exquisite Beach
Resort featuring fourteen private air-conditioned villas, including two
2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Luxury Villas, each representing a different tropical
fruit. Sample the flavor of the Beachfront Casitas, the Sea-View Suites, the
Sea-View Bungalows and Luxury Caribbean Villas. All prices include
Continental breakfast and transfers from the airport in San Pedro.
The Luxury Caribbean Villas are located on the highest part of the resort
with a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea and Barrier Reef. Every villa offers
two spacious bedrooms each with air-conditioning and private patio, two full
bathrooms, kitchenette, reading room, living area and sun deck. Personal
maid is also available and we can arrange for a delicious in-house dinner at
your convenience.
Our majestic lobby is designed with elegance and style. Enjoy the diversity
of our library and our state of the art satellite system, while sinking into
one of our exotic sofa beds draped in the finest fabrics from around the
world.
Around The Grounds
We are very fortunate to have what many consider
to be the finest pearly white beach along the coast of Ambergris Caye. Other
options are snorkeling off our pier or swimming with an amazing array of
beautifully colored fish at the Ho Chan marine reserve. Right next door you
will have the unique opportunity to swim with nurse sharks and stingrays.
Relax in a lounge chair or hammock; get a massage, or shop in San Pedro's
charming barefoot village where English is the official language.
Kayaks and Windsurfing boards are available free of charge. Diving, water
sports and mainland tours can also be arranged.
Restaurant Services
Our Mambo restaurant is already a sensation and
a true success. Our Italian chef prepares exquisite international cuisine
daily as well as a variety of homemade pastas and breads. The menu includes
recipes that incorporate fresh spices and vegetables from our own garden ...
