Jaguar Reef Lodge has a wealth of
natural wonders to share with you, including pristine rainforests filled
with exotic plants and animals, as well as one of the world's largest coral
reefs which is teeming with sea life. At your doorstep is Belize's finest
stretch of mainland beach, ideal for sunbathing and swimming. Our
beach offers ideal swimming conditions with no boat traffic or uninviting
turtle grass underfoot, if you're lucky you can even watch manatee and
dolphin right in front of the Lodge!
Our accommodations are created with
your comfort in mind providing a relaxing, spacious and cool environment to
return to after a day of adventure in the jungle or sea. All rooms offer
amenities for the jungle-beach life style, including a mini-bar
refrigerator, purified water dispensers and beach towels.
Air conditioning and ceiling fans
move the air while Mexican saltillo tile cools the floors. Furnishings are
custom make of local mahogany. Daily maid service is provided by our local
Garifuna staff in their colorful dresses and welcoming smiles. Irons and
personal laundry service are available.
Rooms
Suites:
Four suites, in a two-story building provide extra space and comfort, an
ideal choice for families and friends wishing to share accommodations. Each
suite offers two private bedrooms with individually controlled air
conditioning. Two full baths include a bathtub with shower, hair dryer,
soap, shampoo and linens.
Sea View Suites: These rooms offer magnificent views overlooking the
pool, beach and Caribbean Sea while two downstairs Suites provide partial
ocean views and ground level access to the pool, beach and sea. A thousand
square feet of comfort to enjoy after a full day of adventure.
Cabanas:
Fourteen private cabanas in seven buildings are
built in a semi-circle on the golden sand beach surrounding the main lodge.
Each cabana has a covered porch where you can relax outside your room while
enjoying the scenery and warmth of the tropics. Beachfront cabanas offer a
direct view of the sea. Cabanas offer a choice of one queen bed or two
double beds. Bathrooms are spacious and include a bathtub with shower and
clothes line.
Around The Grounds
Relax in our 40' X
20' freshwater swimming pool with magnificent views of
the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy our complimentary hammocks and evening star gazing
through our
high-powered Ultima 2000 computer-driven telescope.
Bikes and sea kayaks
are available free of charge which are an ideal way to explore the local
area. Why not take a ride into Hopkins Village where the local Garifuna
people will greet you and make you feel right at home.

Jaguar Reef Lodge has one
