The Villas at Banyan Bay

A family oriented resort, located on Ambergris Caye in Belize, our villas feature two bedroom accommodations with commanding panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the Great Belize Barrier Reef. Our resort features a full-service restaurant, dive shop, gift shop and concierge service - all just a mile and a half south of San Pedro.

Banyan Bay offers 42 spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suites on a tropical beach. Each suite has full kitchen facilities, cable TV, phone service and air conditioning. Each suite has a large front veranda with beach view. The Master Bath has a Jacuzzi Tub & Shower.

Our on-site Dive Shop can make all arrangements for you. You can snorkel or dive on the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. You can go fishing in the flats, the reef or the deep sea.

There are off site rentals close to the resort for several water sports, such as Wave Runners, Hobie Kat, Hydro Bikes, Water Skiing, Windsurfing and Parasailing.

Banyan Bay is a family oriented hotel with lots of kids here all the time. We have a group of trusted people with years of experience in taking care of our guests' children. They can even come during the day and play with them at the pool or beach while you enjoy a morning or afternoon of snorkeling, diving, fishing etc.

Our pool is perfect for young children with a large wading and play area. Children spend the whole day in our pool. The deep end is perfect for soaking and playing with your older kids. We also serve drinks and food poolside. A resort-style pool and the Palpa Bar & Grill round off our in-house facilities. Golf cart rentals are available for registered guests.

With over a thousand feet of beach front, our beaches at Banyan Bay are known as the best beach on the island. We have water sports activities on one area of the beach and we have another section of the beach a little more private for the person who is looking for peace and tranquility. It is a wonderful beach for the kids and we even have a salt water wading and snorkeling area for children.

Our guests can use the San Pedro Fitness Center just 5 minutes away from the hotel, for very reasonable rates and the facility is close by. Equipped with a full array of exercise equipment, weights, trainers, yoga and pilates classes. You don't have to miss your daily work outs. There are two, brand new tennis courts as well.
