Banana Beach Resort is located on the beach area of Ambergris Caye known as Mar De Tumbo. This is one of the best natural beach areas of Ambergris Caye. There is a natural break in the reef about a quarter mile off shore. This break allows ocean waves to flow in more freely. Therefore deeper water and a sandier sea bed. This makes us one of the best San Pedro Belize Hotels to lay back and enjoy the ocean and beach. Mar De Tumbo beach is south of San Pedro Town's edge about 3/4 of a mile.
