Daily Itinerary
Please Note: This Day to Day itinerary can be

depending on the time of year you visit. Additional activities can be added upon request.

Day 1: Arrive in Belize
You are personally greeted at the Belize International Airport by a representative of Adventures in
Belize. Your representative will direct you over to the local airline desk where you will board your
flight to San Pedro. In San Pedro, you will take any taxi from the air strip to Xanadu Island Resort
and they will pay the taxi driver upon your arrival. Check in, then head to your accommodations. It
would be a good idea to head over to the Amigos Dive shop in town to arrange your dive times. Dinner
tonight is on your own.
Being new in town, we recommend that you stay close to your hotel. You are welcome to have dinner
at Rico's, located next door on the beachfront at Banyan Bay Villas. They offer a great menu to choose
from as well as a good choice of wines. Try their Conch Ceviche for the appetizer and for desert - the
Mortal Sin (you will need to confess this!).
Days 2: Half Day Snorkel to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley
Breakfast is on your own - you may want to try having breakfast at the "Monkey Bites Cafe", located
just north of Xanadu. Your first full day on the island begins with a combo trip to Hol Chan/Shark Ray
Alley. Located about 5 miles south of the island, the first stop is the Hol Chan Marine Reserve which
is a spectacular underwater park that has become the most popular snorkel site around San Pedro. This
site has some excellent coral formations and a variety of colorful fish. The second stop is Shark Ray
Alley, just a short distance from Hol Chan and is the home of Nurse Sharks and Sting Rays. This is your
opportunity to reach out and touch and experience nature at its best! Return to the island in time for
lunch, which is on your own. Afternoon trips can also be arranged in exchange for the morning trip. Dinner
that evening is at the Blue Water Grill located at the edge of San Pedro Town. Here you can enjoy your meal
under the stars, in a most romantic setting.
Days 3: Relaxing Aromatherapy Message for Two
Breakfast is on your own - a good breakfast option to try is "El Divino" located at Banana Beach Resort,
south of Xanadu. Your day is a restful one, with a relaxing aromatherapy massage for two in either your own
room or at the spa in town, which can be arranged for whatever time of day best fits your plans for today.
Lunch and dinner are on your own.
Days 4: Full Day Bacalar Chico World Heritage Site and Snorkel Excursion
Breakfast is on your own - we recommend for today's breakfast, trying out "Ramon's Village". This restaurant is on the beachfront near their totally exotic pool. Today's exciting tour is the Bacalar Chico full day snorkel and island tour. This tour is one of the newest nature tours on the island. The location of Bacalar Chico is a 90 minute boat ride from San Pedro Town and on the extreme north end of the island where Mexico meets Belize.
The area is a protected sanctuary for mangroves, turtles, crocodiles and birds. You get to explore the jungle of the area and make several snorkel stops in coral patches that do the waters. Take a short walk to the World Heritage site of Rocky Point - where the reef meets the land. The tour includes an excellent Beach BBQ and drinks. Return back to town at around 4:30 pm. Dinner tonight is at Casa Picasso, located near your hotel and is an intimate Spanish styled Tapas restaurant with a great martini lounge.
Day 5: Departure
Breakfast at the resort. Check out and take a taxi to the airport in
town for your flight from San Pedro to Belize City and on to your next Belize destination...
