Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Belize

You are personally greeted at the Belize International Airport by a representative of Adventures in Belize. Your representative will direct you over to the local airline desk where you will board your flight to San Pedro. In San Pedro, you will take any taxi from the air strip to the Blue Tang Inn and the resort will pay the taxi driver upon your arrival. Accommodations in an Oceanfront or Oceanview suite. Dinner is on our own tonight.

Days 2: Half Day Snorkel to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley

Breakfast at the Inn. Your first day on the island includes a half day snorkel trip to Hol Chan Marine Park and Shark Ray Alley. Located about 5 miles south of the island, the first stop is Hol Chan, which is a spectacular underwater park that has become the most popular snorkel site in San Pedro. This site has some excellent coral formations and a variety of colorful fish. The second stop is Shark Ray Alley that is just a short distance from Hol Chan and is the home of Nurse Sharks and Sting Rays. This is your opportunity to reach our and touch nature at its best!

Return to the island in time for lunch, which is on your own. Afternoon trips can also be substituted in exchange for the morning trips. Dinner that evening is at Elvie's Kitchen.

Days 3: Full Day Maya Ruins Trip to Altun Ha

Breakfast at the Inn. Today you will get a tour to the mainland by boat to the Altun Ha Maya Ruins. These ruins are about 30 miles from Belize City on the old northern highway. The site consists of a large well preserved structure where the largest carved jade artifact of the maya world was found. After a complete tour of the site, you will head over to the Maruba Jungle Spa for lunch (not included in this package) and after lunch you could book yourself into a relaxing one hour spa treatment (not included in this package). After your treatments, you will be boated back to the island of San Pedro. Relax after your trip in our fresh water pool. Dinner tonight is on your own.

Days 4: Day to Relax - Personal Massage

Breakfast at the Inn. The treat for today is a mesmerizing 90 minute Massage and Reiki energy treatment, which can be booked at your convenience. This would be a great time to visit the town and do some local shopping and try out some of the local restaurants. Dinner tonight is on your own.

Day 5: Departure

Breakfast at the resort. Check out and take a taxi to the airport in town for your flight from San Pedro to Belize City and on to your next Belize destination...
