Day 1: Arrive in Belize City, Belize / Punta Gorda -
Toledo
Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Accommodations will be in one of the
individual spacious cabanas, made of hardwood walls and traditional thatch, elegantly furnished
with hardwood furniture, lots of windows. The standard cabanas have one queen size bed and private
bathrooms with shower. Welcome drinks on arrival.
Day 2 & 3: Full Day Fishing at Port of Honduras Marine Reserve
Your first day begins with a full day of fishing at the Port Honduras Marine Reserve with box
lunch and park fees included. Port Honduras Marine Reserve lies just north of Punta Gorda Town.
Recently declared a protected area in January 2000, the reserve encompasses 847 square kilometers
of coastal Caribbean Sea. The reserve starts from the coastline, where seven jungle-lined rivers
flow to the basin in estuarine conditions, out to fully saline areas of reefs and Cayes. This area
is one of the riches fishing fields in the area of Toledo. You return to the Inn in the late afternoon.
Day 4: Free Day
Choose form a third day of fishing and conquer your inner challenge for that grand slam, or
explore the natural wonders of Toledo and its Mayan heritage by making a visit to the famous Lubantun
Archeological and Blue Creek Mayan Village, or just wonder in town and explore the natural beauty of
Toledo in its best.
Day 5: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Breakfast Included.
