This leaves right after dinner and you get to put on headlamps and walk around the jungle surrounding the lodge.
Your guide will show you unique insects, night spiders, Tarantulas, bats, and maybe you will be lucky enough to
see a Coati Mundi, Ocelot or even the mysterious jaguar!! You will return to the lodge sometime around 9pm.
Days 5: The Black Hole Drop
Buffet breakfast at the lodge. If you have a longer stay, then you will go on for another trip today. If not,
then you will be transferred to our next destination in Belize. For those staying longer, you can do the most
exciting and thrilling of all tours - The Black Hole Drop. Although this expedition may not be suitable for small
children, kids 10 and older may find this to be the expedition that will test their bravery. If however you do not
feel this trip would be best for your family, you are welcome to change it to another expedition.
The day begins with an hour and a half hike into the jungle to the site of the sink hole. At the site, you will
be given instruction on how to harness yourselves, with guides to help you of course. Your guides then teach you
how to repel very easily into the 300 foot deep hole. Although it seems difficult. as you will find out, this is
actually very easy to do! Our oldest person to do this drop was 72 years old, and the youngest was 10 years old.
If they can do it, you can TOO!!! Lunch at the bottom of the hole, and a short hike to the site of a massive cave
entrance where you can explore for a few moments. You then hike out and down the jungle mountain and return to the

hike, is an educational class on medicinal plants and trees, learning how to find your directions in the jungle,
following your guide as he takes you to different interesting spots! Lunch in the jungle and return to the lodge
late afternoon. Dinner at the lodge.
