Day 1: Arrive in Belize City, Belize / Placencia
Meet and Greet at the Philip Goldson International Airport by a representative of Adventures in
Belize. Once in Placencia, your accommodations at the Inn at Roberts Grove will be in a beach view
standard room.
The first floor beach view standard rooms are equipped with a king or twin beds. The rooms also
have a futon couch for an additional person. The first floor rooms have a front entrance and overlook
the pool and beach or beach trees and the beach. All rooms have private bath, air conditioning, ceiling
fans and private terrace. Equipped with jalousie windows, screens, hairdryer, safe, phone, cable TV, small
refrigerator. Decorated with handcrafted furniture in native woods, woven fabrics and rugs, Mexican terra
cotta tiled floors, original artwork and antiques.
After a short orientation and welcome drinks, check into your Beach view standard room and settle in for
the remainder of the day, feel free to enjoy the pool or just relax on the beach.
Days 2: South Water Caye 2 Tank Dive
Departure time is 8:00 am. The trip is 60 minutes to South Water Caye. The Barrier Reef boasts fantastic
walls, canyons, sloping drop-offs, great coral and fish life. The water is generally clear at the reefs
because of a slight northerly current. After the first dive you then proceed to island for surface interval
and lunch at which time we interact with snorklers. Both dives on the outer reef are walls dives at two
unique sites. The island is outfitted with bathroom facilities and picnic area.
Day 3: Glovers Reef 2 Tank Dive
Boat departs Main Dock at 7:00 am for a 1 ½ hour scenic and educational boat ride through many mangrove
islands and shallow patch reefs displaying an array of beautiful colors. You will travel through our main
Barrier Reef and pass over the Continental Shelf. Shortly after, you will encounter Glover’s Reef Atoll,
Belize’s most remote Atoll. The shallow drop-offs are brimming with marine life, turtles, and healthy
corals, both hard and soft. There is an abundance of sponge specie and even swim through. After arriving
at Glover’s, snorkelers and their guides will remain near the island from which snorkeling activities will
be conducted, while divers will then proceed to the dive site a few minutes away.
Day 4: Free Day
Explore the peninsula or simply relax and enjoy the amenities at Roberts Grove including an exotic and
tranquil Swedish massage or simple indulge in a seaweed body wrap, the resort is also equipped with the
only tennis court in the peninsula, so bring your rackets or use the ones available at the resort. Tone
up at our resort gym or tone down on the roof top Jacuzzi. Choose from alternative tours also available.
Day 5: Departure Day
Breakfast at The Inn at Robert's Grove and transfer to
the airstrip for departure to Belize International Airport.
