The Adventures In Belize website has been created by Ian and his brother Mark, the webmaster, to offer everyone the
opportunity to have their dream vacation planned with the utmost attention to detail and honesty that can be provided.
Ian and all our agents live in Belize and our reservation center is in the heart of the country. This allows us to keep in
constant contact with all the resorts and adventure companies, and makes it possible to personally assist you anytime during your vacation.
We are entirely focused on Belize and we have more than 14 years experience in creating first class trips. Our team is dedicated to Belize
travel and all of our agents have extensive knowledge of the accommodations and adventures that we offer in our all inclusive vacation packages.

About Ian Anderson
Originally from Vancouver Canada, Ian Anderson is Belize's foremost adventurer and explorer into the Mountains, Caves, Caverns and
Rainforest of the ancient Maya.

For the past 14 years, Ian has created and led some of the most extraordinary high adventure caving and jungle expeditions offered
in Belize from his base camp at Caves Branch Adventure Co. and Jungle Lodge,
where Ian lives year-round.
His world famous high adventure jungle and caving expeditions have made his Jungle Lodge a favorite destination for the true adventurer world wide.

Ian is not only a resort owner and adventure tour operator, but he is currently president of the Belize Tour Operators Associated and
founder of the Belize Disaster and Rescue Response Team. Ian's numerous contributions to Belize is highlighted by his
BAD CATS Youth at Risk Program which has been an enormous
success in getting kids off the streets, out of gangs and staying in school.
Ian is also the official Adventure Training Partner for
the British Army, helping to develop skills required in the military such as leadership, endurance and survival skills.
Through Ian's Student Adventure Lodge located on the Sibun River, several educational courses
are delivered which include College and High School student adventure packages, Cave and Wilderness Rescue Team training, Tropical and Wilderness
Medicine training, and Jungle Survival training.
With Ian's love for adventure and his vast knowledge of Belize, it's culture
and history, Ian and his team will create a first class dream vacation just for

Originally from Los Angeles, Rhoda came to Belize with her family in 1988. Her father, a Belizean wanted to raise his kids in his homeland.
She has been here ever since and finds Belize one of the best places to live in, raise kids and enjoy the great outdoors. Rhoda has worked in
the tourism industry now for about 4 years and enjoys assisting guests that come to Belize to enjoy the jungle, the beach, the islands, the
ruins and so much that this small country has to offer.
Her thoughts: "It is common for people to live every day in their countries and never know what they have around them.
Belize is one of the newest destinations opening up to tourism. I love it when people come to visit, and fall in love with Belize - just like I did.

Born and raised in Punta Gorda- Toledo, Evita presently hold a Bachelors Degree with concentration in Tourism Management from the University of Belize.
She loves traveling and exploring her own country. One of the many other things she enjoys is meeting people from different sectors of this world and
sharing their varied experiences. Mother Nature and God’s other creations are the number one thing that she cherishes.
Evita has lived in Belize for her entire life and can truly say that she has never gotten the urge to leave this beautiful and serene country.

Originally from California, her mother came to Belize by accident and fell in LOVE. She ended up staying, and opening one of the best restaurants
in Belize City - "Mom's" which operated for 25 years.
Sue came to Belize to help her mother and ended up staying on, and raising her three kids here for most of their lives. I have lived in
Belize for 32 years and it is my adopted country and my home.
Sue has been with Adventures in Belize as the accountant and enjoys working with us in helping to create a wonderful stay for visitors.

Daren Swasey loves his job! He is our accounting assistant and recently joined the Adventures in Belize family after working for more than
10 years with a government agency.
As some of his interests include traveling around this country and experiencing new and different places, he says he finds himself very fortunate
to be employed by Adventures in Belize. "I consider myself a 'people person' and I get to interact everyday with people like

Mark has lived on Ambergris Caye for over 3 years. During that time he has been able to check out pretty much whatever there is to do around Belize.
An avid diver, and fishing enthusiast, he is happy to share his knowledge. Ask him about his favorite mainland trip... the "Black Hole Drop".
